Eagle Mountains #1, Spectre Point

12 people gathered at the Cottonwood CG Ranger Station for carpooling to the Eagle roadhead. We drove north to the only parking area around and headed southeast to the prominent ridge. All made the summit in good time. Sat night we camped at the Spectre road head where we were joined by Jon Petitjean and Jacques Brosseau. Had a nice campfire. Sunday am we added 3 San Diego hikers who had hiked in all the way from highway 62. Spectre went well and all were back at the cars by 3:15. The road going into Spectre is in good shape. Weather during the weekend was great.
